Always say “yes”

Here are two touristy pics of us at separate locations in Washington State taken by the same passerby (a Washington local as it turns out, super enthusiastic and happy we were visiting his state :). We recognised his group at the beach in the second pic and his enthusiasm spiked again, even yelling out to his friend that “he was right” and “they were from Australia or New Zealand!”. He was a fun bloke. Good to see he had improved his photography skills by the next time we saw him ;).

First shot was on a 30+ mile ride around Quinault Lake in Olympic National Park, the second was on Ruby’s Beach along Washington’s most rugged coastline.

We’ve made it a habit to offer to take photos for families and couples who are trying to take a nice pic when one of them has to operate the camera, and also to mandatorily say “yes” to anyone who asks if we’d like a photo taken, even if we don’t want one. As such, any pic of us you see like this is a result of someone offering their services to us.
