After riding 130km of dusty gravel roads you tend to bring some of it back to your hotel room
Luckily we had a walk-in shower that fits a bike perfectly cc/ @wagga_gearsandbeers

Last training ride before Gears and Beers
Last training ride before Gears and Beers (had to test regreased hub bearings, and not-ridden-since-MS150-in-Texas-two-years-ago Schwalbe 40mm G-One All Round tubeless tires) What a morning for it, absolutely perfect.
Before/After – New paint scheme, ready for Gears and Beers in few weeks
Never painted a bike before, learned a lot, enjoyed the process. New things: how to use a vinyl cutter, how to properly administer spray paint (still got a lot wrong on this one), how to apply clear coat… one thing I did not learn was patience. More patience = better result I would think. Not to worry, I’m happy with this as my first rodeo. And I’ll try not to be too careful with this paint, bikes are meant for ridin’ 🤘
A change is as good as a new bike …said no one ever
But, I’ve always wanted to do a new paint scheme on an old frame so here I am. Plus, I want to make myself faster for @wagga_gearsandbeers coming up by painting my bike the official colours of the event. Hopefully it works 🤞😬🤞
