Hang loose
🤙
Speedy strikes again! This is the third time (🤔) we’ve seen Speedy ‘round the area
Making a bee-line from the back of the garage to, presumably, the pond.
Echidna! Caught a quick glimpse of this echidna crossing from our place to the neighbours’
The first time we’ve seen one of these guys in the neighbourhood :) hope to cross paths again soon 🤞
Great, we’ve not seen a snake on the farm yet but the world’s second most venomous spider makes an appearance
Go back to Sydney where you belong!!
Rosellas
Nesting in the hollow of a nearby tree. Saw the feathers poking out last night when I was walking around with the torch (as I’m want to do). Stuck the phone in the hole today to see three cute rosella eggs. Roselleggs?
Scuttles and Scuttles Jr
Better photo access :)
Guess who’s back in the garage (again)? Scuttles the brush-tailed possum! And this time with baby in tow
I don’t think they get in every night/day, but occasionally the sensor lights have been triggering inside with doors closed. Now I know why.
Bluey** the blue-tongued lizard is back
And buggerlugs appears to have a knack for sniffing these fellas out. Probably not a good thing… She’s found two in as many days, the first of which she picked up in her mouth 😬.. Picked this little guy up and put him inside the old unused aviary until evening when Jessie’s inside and he can escape to safer plains. ** Even though we obviously have several blue-tongued lizards roaming around, we’re calling all of them Bluey for simplicity.
